Boudoir Photography That Feels Comfortable From the Very Beginning
Walking into a boudoir session can feel intimidating. For many people, it's their first time in front of the camera in such a personal setting. Feeling nervous is completely normal, and it's never something you have to hide.
At Rain & Lace, creating beautiful photographs starts by creating a space where you can relax. Before your session even begins, we'll talk through your vision, answer your questions, and help you choose wardrobe pieces that fit both your style and your comfort level. When it's time to photograph, you'll never be left wondering what to do next. Every pose, expression, and movement is gently guided from start to finish.
There is no expectation to know how to model or look a certain way. Your session moves at a comfortable pace, giving you time to settle in, build confidence, and enjoy the experience. Many clients tell us that what they worried about most ended up becoming one of the most enjoyable parts of the day.
By the end of your session, our goal isn't simply to create beautiful portraits. It's for you to leave feeling confident, comfortable, and proud of what you've accomplished.

Who I Am
Hi, I'm Natasha, the photographer behind Rain & Lace.
I created Rain & Lace to offer more than beautiful photographs. I wanted to create an experience where people feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely seen. Many of my clients arrive feeling nervous, convinced they aren't photogenic or don't know how to pose. Watching that uncertainty turn into confidence is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
My style blends fine art, editorial portraiture, and authentic emotion to create timeless images that you'll love for years to come. I'll guide you through every step of your session, helping you relax and enjoy the experience while we create artwork that's uniquely yours.
I can't wait to help tell your story.
You're Not the Person Who Loves Being in Front of the Camera...That's Perfect!
Most of the people who walk into our studio have the same concerns.
"I'm not photogenic." | "I have no idea how to pose." | "I'm going to feel awkward the whole time."
They aren't models. They don't spend their lives in front of a camera. In fact, many have avoided having their picture taken for years because they never liked what they saw. Then something changes. Not because they suddenly become someone else, but because they're finally photographed with care, intention, and guidance.
Every pose is coached. Every detail is adjusted. Every image is created to highlight your natural beauty, not hide who you are. When you see your photographs for the first time, you're not looking at a different person.
You're seeing yourself with fresh eyes.
Confident. Elegant. Strong. Beautiful.
You don't have to arrive believing any of those things. You simply have to give yourself permission to be seen.
The rest is our job.
